Suparna Gold Corp. (TSX-V:SUG) is an exploration company with its flagship Sara Creek project located in the highly prospective Guiana Shield in Suriname.
The Sara Creek project has a large property position in the Guiana Shield covering 56,920 hectares. The Guiana Shield stretches across northeast South America and hosts several multi-million ounce deposits including IAMGold’s Rosebel Mine, 50 km to the north west of Sara Creek, as well as Newmont’s Merian project, approximately 55km to the north. The team behind Suparna Gold Corp. is the same team that assisted in the creation and building of Rainy River Resources; currently an $800mm market cap company developing the newly discovered Rainy River District in Ontario, Canada.
